New York, New York!
Today, we’re off for a week in the Big Apple: New York City. The primary reason is to celebrate Greg’s mother’s birthday next weekend. (Even though Greg’s mother lives near Washington DC, we’re celebrating in New York. But that’s another story).
Since we’re traveling cross-country, we’re spending the whole week in New York. It’s been nearly 3 years since Amy & Greg last visited New York, so we have a lot to do. We’ve got a busy week (over-)planned with concerts, theater, jazz, museums, walking, fine dining, not-so-fine dining, shopping. Perhaps even a few hours for sleep in The City that Never Sleeps.
And we’re traveling without either of our RVs. Like, we’re flying. And riding in the subway. And staying in a hotel. How quaint - who knew you could still travel that way?
