When we moved in 2007 from San Francisco to Seattle, we didn't fully recognize that we would have to deal with snow again. Over the last few weeks, the snow and ice generally kept us indoors, but there's a simple solution: we're heading to Baja! Right now, we're driving R2V2 (our motorhome) towards the meetup with our Mexico RV caravan. On the way, we're dodging snow on the mountain passes. We also hope to visit friends and family in the Southwest.
Considering the forecasts for more rain and snow, we are leaving a day early. Also, we now need to make new plans along the way, preferably activities that are good on rainy days.
A few days ago, Greg had to rebuild the software that hosts this blog. If you received this post via email and you don't want email updates, just click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email, or email Amy or Greg and we will be happy to remove you.
Finally, you can view our progress on the live map at https://travel.glockners.net/current-map. If the map is not working, send an email to Greg so that he can have the joy of debugging his software after a long day of driving.
