SEA ya real soon!
Today is the end of the first half of our Alaskan adventure. We are flying home for a month and will be returning later this summer for our return trip.
Yesterday was mostly more errands. We washed the RV inside and out, preparing to store it in Alaska while we are back home. Despite washing it twice along the drive, it was filthy again from the gravel roads.
We had some time to explore Anchorage a bit. We visited the Anchorage Museum. The museum was listed as a must-see, and we can see why. It was mostly an art museum that specialized in Alaskan themed art. They an had a planetarium and a science lab. The art museum contained an exhibit from the Smithsonian on native life. They had exhibits on pictures of Denali and wild animals. Another exhibit was on Alaskan humor. Our favorite was an exhibit involving dogs. Ari keeps hoping that something like this exhibit will convince us that we need a dog.

After the museum, we found a lovely nature trail along the water. The trail started in the flight path from the Anchorage airport. We had a nice walk with a nice view, and the airport noise wasn’t bad at all.
This will be our last update for a few weeks. See you again in August!
