Redding or not: Here we come

A return to the chargers in Ashland OR

We left early this morning to drive Ari to the airport. He has a side quest to visit his grandparents and gets to avoid the drive down I-5. We have done this drive a lot lately but it’s amazing how much faster the drive is when we aren’t towing a trailer.

Our original plan was to make it to Medford OR. Luckily for us there has been no traffic and the weather was favorable most of the day. We even saw a strange bright light in the sky. I think it’s called the Sun.

We arrived in Medford at about 3:30 PM and decided to push forward. Unfortunately there isn’t much between Medford and Redding. We made a hotel reservation in Redding CA.

Once we hit the Mount Shasta area, we reached the rain and wind and darkness. Greg is having déjà vu from his drive with Brian.

By getting to Redding, we will have time tomorrow for some bonus site seeing.
