Selfie at the beach

We are in the middle of three days of driving. Between keeping the caravan together, military checkpoints, pot holes and topes (speed bumps) we are driving 3 hours a day and covering a little over 100 miles a day.

We spent last night in El Pebellon on the beach. The accommodations were sparse but we were just a few steps from the beach. There were a few vehicles driving on the sand! Baja races in Baja.

Today we drove inland into the desert. We’re currently staying in a parking lot behind a restaurant. It’s putting the into dry camping.

Amy took photos while Greg drove. The wagon master is first, we are vehicle 5, and all vehicles keep in the same order. We keep in touch using walkie-talkies. The system works really well.

Along the road we saw some interesting rock formations

Vehicle 6 has a dog that Greg is enamored with. Her name is Pippy and she knows to go to Greg for pets. The consensus among the caravan is that Ari is right and we need to get another dog.
