It’s like Deja vu all over again
Most of today was a repeat of last week. We left Vancouver and headed on highway 1 East and then North. We stopped at the same fruit stand to resupply. We drove the same route.
We did have our first wildlife sighting on the drive. A big horn sheep. It came on too quickly to get a better photo.

Our plan is to try to drive four hours or less each day. This would have brought us back to Hat Creek outside of Cache Creek again. Only it was 90F (32C) at 2 PM. We already saw the sights of Hat Creek. This would have required a hook up to get the air conditioning running with little to do. At the cost of an extra hour, we found a lovely provincial park at Green Lake. We found the Emerald Bay campground along the lake that had a campsite open on the lake. This was a huge win for us.
It is way too windy for us to take out our kayaks. So we are spending the rest of the afternoon sitting on our private waterfront along the lake. Yes, even Greg sat still for the afternoon.
